Last Friday night, a cadre of local bands played a show that raised more than $3000 for Oasis Center, a non-profit for at-risk young people based in Nashville. Between the vibe and the music, it felt a little like a tiny version of Freakin’ Weekend. Things are going to get worse before they get better, but it feels great to see people out and supporting good causes however they can. Music Band, Idle Bloom, Western Medication, Bummr City and Catflaps did their part at The East Room. You can read more in The Spin on Nashville Cream.
